I think Maia laid down in a pond. Piedra just found a patch of recently-snow-free ground also free of saltbush and shadscale, and as it was all muddy, she got a good coating. 🙂

It’s mostly already dry again, but it was pretty soggy in the immediate aftermath of the melted snow! She sure tried to get ALL muddy. 😉
